ROLE: Superintendent – (Building)
LOCATION: Charlotte, NC
SALARY: $120,000-$140,000 + Excellent Benefits
THE BUSINESS
Hamilton Mayer International is working in partnership with a top 12 ENR rated construction firm in the US. To sustain anticipated growth out of their Charlotte office over the next 3-5 yrs, they are looking for an outstanding Superintendent, who specialises within commercial sectors such as High Rise, Sports Facilities and Healthcare, specifically across North Carolina. The individual is expected to be able to fit in with the company’s ethos and add value to the organisation.
- Responsible for multiple construction projects, both interior and exterior, new construction or renovations, with budgets ranging from $500,000 to $70m.
- Oversee and coordinate planning and scope development, specification and drawing preparation, equipment and materials planning.
- The individual will be directly responsible for estimating, budget & schedule development and management, bidding and negotiating.
- Ensure overall quality and project control.
- Providing project reports to the Executive Leadership team.
REQUIREMENTS
- The ideal appointment for this opening must have extensive experience in building large commercial buildings from the ground up.
- Educated to degree level or higher in Project Management would be preferred, but not essential.
- Experience managing multiple construction projects in various phases, varying project budgets, but more importantly, know the Charlotte market.
- Will be an expert in Preventative Risk Management and be a Strong Decision Maker.
- A team player focused on providing an on time and cost-effective service to clients.
