Role: Senior Superintendent – Ground-Up Construction
Location – Nashville, TN
Salary – $140,000-$150,000 + Excellent Benefits
THE BUSINESS:
Hamilton Mayer International is working in close partnership with a top 20 ENR rated construction firm in the US. This organisation is looking for an exceptional Senior Superintendent, a veteran of the construction world responsible for providing strong leadership in ground-up construction, with particular focus on concrete frame and steel structures.
SKILLS NEEDED:
- Responsible for running large commercial projects from the ground up, with construction values ranging from $80-200m upwards.
- Create and manage budgets for all assigned projects.
- Conduct project meetings, while setting milestones and formulating monthly owner reports.
- Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications) including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders where applicable.
- Perform project scheduling markers; ensure project quality control and establish overall project logistics.
- Manage closeout process efficiently to the point of certificate of occupancy.
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs while explaining how these needs could be met by specific company services.
- Oversee and coordinate planning and scope development, specification and drawing preparation, equipment and materials planning.
- Ensure overall quality and project control is at the highest standards.
- Providing project reports to the Executive Leadership team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive experience in hospitality, industrial and healthcare projects valuing between $80-200m.
- Will have excellent planning ability, empathy and compassion to build an industry leading team around them.
- Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related designs.
- Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results.
- Knowledge of lean construction techniques will be highly advantageous for this job opening.
