Role: Heavy Civil Senior Estimator
Salary: $150-165k basic + Excellent Benefits

About the Role:
- Lead the development of accurate, competitive cost estimates for complex projects exceeding $100 million.
- Analyze plans, specifications, and drawings to identify material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Conduct market research and negotiate with subcontractors for best pricing.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure project profitability.
- Prepare and present well-documented estimates to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Conduct market research and negotiations to obtain competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to control costs and ensure project profitability.
- Prepare and present clear, concise, and well-documented estimates to internal stakeholders and potential clients.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates are aligned with project scope, schedule, and design.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of heavy civil construction estimating experience, preferably in highways, bridges, transit and rail.
- Proven track record of successfully estimating and bidding $100 million+ projects with past successes.
- Strong understanding of cost estimating principles, methodologies, and software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not essential.
