Role: General Superintendent – An Industry Leader
Location – San Antonio, TX
Salary – $150,000-$170,000 + Excellent Benefits
THE BUSINESS:
Hamilton Mayer International is working in close partnership with a large construction firm in the US. The San Antonio office of this $3bn revenue general contractor is looking to appoint an experienced, high-caliber, hands-on construction professional to help run the region following a series of successful contract awards. This individual will be able to lead multiple teams effectively with a track record running various jobs from the ground-up.
SKILLS NEEDED:
- Responsible for running multiple large projects from the ground up, with construction values ranging from $50-80m upwards.
- Create and manage budgets for all assigned projects.
- Conduct project meetings, while setting milestones and formulating monthly owner reports.
- Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications) including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders.
- Perform project scheduling; ensure project quality control and establish overall project logistics.
- Manage the closeout process efficiently.
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs while explaining how these needs could be met by specific company services.
- Oversee and coordinate planning and scope development, specification and drawing preparation, equipment and materials planning.
- Ensure overall quality and project control is at the highest standards.
- Providing project reports to the owner and senior leadership.
- As a leader, you have to be as available and inclusive as possible for your team.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Ground-up, concrete structure, steel frame expert, with market focus being flexible.
- Background delivering past projects valuing between $50-80m upwards.
- Introducing and maintaining a culture of positivity.
- Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related designs.
- Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results.
