Role: Business Group Leader – Texas / Carolinas / Florida
Salary: $300-350k basic + Excellent Compensation including being part of an attractive stock program
Location: Dallas – travel expected

Hamilton Mayer International is working in partnership with a major player in the global construction market. This formidable industry giant has group revenues of US$15Billion and an extensive portfolio spanning across various market segments as well as infrastructure.
One thing is for sure, this organization doesn’t hold back when a tough assignment is presented by the client and the job just needs to be done. What is necessary in these circumstances is to ensure the correct people with the right attitude are in place to deliver exceptional results.
Role:
- Responsible for overseeing multiple regions/& or large design-build projects across the U.S.
- Proven background in executive leaderships, with expected annual revenues of $1billion.
- Key market knowledge will include heavy civil infrastructure, rail, transit, highways and bridges.
- Collaborate with the board to bring best-in-class construction services to large scale, highly complex construction project across the country.
- The position requires the ability to lead teams in successfully executing projects working with design consultants under alternative delivery and design/build methodologies.
- Oversee multiple project teams (including staff from other groups (e.g. JV partners) and sub-consultants and sub-contractors) and coordinate all project resources.
- Monitor/control construction progress to ensure projects are built on schedule and within budget.
- Continuously review field operations, ensuring projects in the region are constructed safely and in accordance with all design, budgetary and scheduling obligations.
- Identifying required and optional changes in project scope and negotiate change orders with the owner.
- Consistently demonstrates professionalism and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable employment procedures.
- Responsibilities may include attracting, selecting, onboarding and retaining top talent; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance management of team members including annual performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, addressing complaints and resolving problems that may be encountered.
Key Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field would be desirable but not essential.
- Will be a key figurehead in the construction/infrastructure market.
- Proven track record with large client program management, pursuit execution, and multidisciplinary team management.
- A present and concise leader.
- Demonstrates exemplary man-management style.
